Dzisiaj post specjalny :), pisałam ostatnio, że chciałabym ugotować coś na blogu i voilà , przepis w moim fotograficznym wykonaniu! Głównym bohaterem jest fantastyczny i łatwy do zrobienia deser Semifreddo. Przepis pochodzi z bloga strawberriesfrompoland.blogspot.fr, który jest moim ukochanym blogiem kulinarnym. Gotowanie jest dla mnie wielką przyjemnością a przygotowanie tego posta naprawdę sprawiło mi frajdę!

Today an special post :) last time I wrote that I would like to cook something on blog, and voilà!  That's my recipe in photos! the main character is wonderful and easy to do dessert Semifreddo. The recipe comes from strawberriesfrompoland.blogspot.fr my beloved culinary blog. Cooking is a great pleasure for me and the preparation of this post gave me a lot of fun!  

SEMIFREDDO Z TRUSKAWKAMI I PRAŻONYMI MIGDAŁAMI 

Semifreddo with strawberries and roasted almonds

Potrzebujemy / need:

3 jajka (three eggs)

około 1/2 kg truskawek (about 1/2 kg of strawberries)

350 ml słodkiej śmietanki (350 ml of sweet fresh cream)

dwie garści migdałów w płatkach (two handfuls of flaked almonds)

100 g cukru (100 g of sugar)

Prażę na patelni dwie garści migdałów

Roast two handfuls of almonds

Myję truskawki i odcinam listki

Wash strawberries and cut off leaves

Następnie kroję je na ćwiartki, zasypuję trzema łyżkami cukru i duszę przez około 15 minut

Then cut them into quarters, put three tablespoons of sugar and stew for arround 15 minutes

 Ucieram żółtka jaj z 50 g cukru

Whip egg yolks with 50 g of sugar

Ubijam około 300 ml słodkiej śmietanki z 50 g cukru

Whip around 350 ml of fresh cream with 50 g of sugar

Ubite wcześniej białka jaj dodaję wraz żółtkami do śmietany i delikatnie mieszam

Whipped egg whites add with the egg yolks to the cream and stir gently

 Dodaję migdały i truskawki i mieszam składniki

Add almonds and strawberries and mix ingredients

Przelewam gotową masę to pudełka i wkładam do zamrażalnika na 2-3 godziny

Ready mixture pour into box and put in the freezer for 2-3 hours

Mogłabym to jeść codziennie :)

W porcie w Marsylii / In the port of Marseille

Już jestem, po kilku dniach przerwy wracam z kolejną porcją wrażeń, zdjęć i garścią kulturalnych informacji. Dzisiaj na tapecie ponownie Marsylia i kolejny obiekt, który odkryłam jeszcze pod koniec zeszłego tygodnia. Mowa o nowej przestrzeni w mieście zaaranżowanej w starym hangarze portowym - J1. Tak, tak znowu będę się zachwycać bo kompilacja przestrzeni industrialnych z kulturą i sztuką to cos co uwielbiam, tak więc do rzeczy: Hangar znajduje się w pobliżu portu, pomiędzy esplanadą J4 a dzielnicą La Joliette, w styczniu został otwarty dla publiczności po raz pierwszy. Po gruntownej renowacji obiekt dysponuje 2500 m2 przestrzeni wystawienniczej, ponadto znajduje się w nim The  Seafront Factory - strefa przeznaczona dla mniejszych wystaw i warsztatów (obecnie: La Jetée Gallery, the Quayside Gallery i The Living in the Midi Gallery), przestrzeń dla dzieci, księgarnia i restauracja z widokiem na morze i port.... wspaniale :). To idealne miejsce na niedzielne popołudnie, spotkanie ze znajomymi, spacer z dziećmi, czy chociaż na małą kawę w tygodniu. To miejsce, w którym nie można się nudzić, Seafront Factory oferuje różnorodne akcje, warsztaty, wykłady, koncerty, dyskusje, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie, o szczegółach będę jeszcze pisać w kolejnych postach.

Przedstawiam solidną porcje zdjęć, które mam nadzieję oddadzą urok tego miejsca...

I'm back, after few days of pause with new impression, photos and cultural news. Today is again Marseille on plate and other venue which I discovered at the end of last week. It's about new space in the city arranged in the old hangar - J1. Yes, yes anew I will rave because as compilaton of industrial space with a culture and art is that what I love,  so let's get to the point: the hangar is situated in the port, between J4 esplnade and the Joliette district and was opned for the public on January for the first time. After an extensive renovation, it features 2,500 m2 of exhibition space, moreover it contains The  Seafront Factory -a place for smaller exhibitions and workshops ( nowdays: La Jetée Gallery, the Quayside Gallery and the Living in the Midi Gallery), children's area, bookshop and a restaurant overlooking the sea and port... hiper! :). That's great place for the Sunday afternoon, meeting with a friends, walk with a kids, or just for a little coffe during week. That is place wher you can't be bored because The Seafront Factory offers  a lot of actions, workshops, lectures, concerts, discussions, everyone can find someting nice, I will write about that in details next time.

Mediterraneans. From Yesterday’s Cities to Today’s Men

Od wczorajszych miast do dzisiejszego człowieka, czyli co znaczy Śródziemnomorski dzisiaj? To temat aktualnej wystawy w J1, która przedstawia największe historyczne dzieła cywilizacji europejskich ale także portret dzisiejszych ludzi wywodzących się z kultury śródziemnomorskiej. "Przewodnikiem" wystawy jest współczesny Ulisses, który zabiera widza w podróż przez jedenaście historycznych śródziemnomorskich portów. Wystawa obejmuje 171 obiektów, z różnych dziedzin sztuki i rzemiosła: malarstwo olejne, średniowieczne iluminowane manuskrypty, szaty liturgiczne, rzymskie mozaiki czy fotografia lub plakaty kompanii morskich. Dawne przedmioty "ożyły" dzięki współczesnym dziełom audio-wizualnym. Każdy okres w historii został zobrazowany za pomocą krótkich, animowanych filmów wyprodukowanych przez grupę siedmiu młodych reżyserów z Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs w Paryżu pod przewodnictwem Paula Bourgoisa. Specjalnie na potrzeby wystawy powstał film Ulysses, Burning Borders and the White Middle Sea autorstwa Malek Bensmaï. Film składa się z dziesięciu piętnastominutowych sekwencji, które przedstawiają postać dzisiejszego Ulissesa w osobach spotkanych w śródziemnomorskich portach.

Wystawa jest niepospolita również ze względu na dość zaskakującą scenografię, którą stanowi labirynt blaszanych kontenerów zmodyfikowanych i ułożonych tak aby widz odniósł wrażenie wyimaginowanej podróży w głąb śródziemnomorskiej cywilizacji. Magiczną atmosferę miejsca podkreśla świetnie wyreżyserowane światło, skupione głównie  na samych obiektach. Wystawa robi ogromne wrażenie, kontrast pomiędzy dziełami sztuki dawnej (które zazwyczaj widzimy w skostniałych muzeach) a nowoczesną aranżacją sprawia, że obiekty nabierają nowego blasku i stają się atrakcyjne nawet dla ignorantów sztuki.

From yesterday's cities to today's man, what's means to be Mediterranean today? It's about the current exhibition at the J1, which represents the greatest historical works of European civilization, but also a portrait of today's Mediterranean man and woman.. The"guide" of the exposition is a contemporary Ulysses, which takes the viewer on a journey through eleven historic Mediterranean ports. The exhibition includes 171 objects from different fields of art and crafts: oil paintings, medieval illuminated manuscripts, vestments, Roman mosaics, photography or marine company posters. Old things "come to life" with the modern audio-visual works. Each period in history has been illustrated by short animated films produced by a group of seven young directors from the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris under the leadership of Paul Bourgois. Especially for this exhibition was prduced the film Ulysses, Burning Borders, and the White Middle Sea by Malek Bensmaï. The film consists of ten fifteen-minute sequence, which represent the character of today's Ulysses by people met the in the Mediterranean ports.
The exhibition is uncommon also because of startling set design, it's a labyrinth of metal containers modified and stacked  so as to the viewer has the impression of an imaginary journey into the world of Mediterranean civilization. The magical atmosphere is emphasizes by perfectly directed light, focused mainly on the items. The exhibition is impressive, the contrast between the ancient works of art (which is usually seen in the conventional museums) and a modern arrangement gives objects a new glamor and become attractive even for an ignoramus the of art.
