Agnès Varda

Do 17 marca Galerie d'art du Conseil général w Aix-en-Provence prezentuje wystawę prac Agnès Varda, ekspozycja obejmuje serię portretów mieszkańców Marsylii w poszczególnych dzielnicach.  La Pomme - jabłko, Le Merlan -witlinek (gatunek ryby), La Rose - róża, Le Panier - kosz, to urocze nazwy dzielnic Marsylii, które artystka zapożyczyła jako atrybuty w swoich pracach. Ponadto zobaczymy film zainspirowany fotografią zrobioną w 1956 r. na dachu Cite radieuse le Corbusier, a także dwa nowe projekty fotograficzno-filmowe Achilles i Paryż oraz Z cyrku Phocéen i Amélie mażoretka z Vitrolles. Wystawa jest nieduża, ale muszę przyznać, że oglądałam ją z przyjemnością, portrety marsylczyków z rybami, czy jabłkami mimo, że pomysł dziecinnie prosty stanowią taki "lokalny album" przedstawiający tutejszą różnorodność i klimat, który miło się ogląda.

Wystawa jest bezpłatna, codziennie od 9.30-13.00, 14.00-18.00

Until 17th March Galerie d'art du Conseil général in Aix-en-Provence presents works of Agnès Varda, Exhibition includes a series of portraits of inhabitiants of Marseille in individual districts.  La Pomme - apple, Le Merlan - whiting (kind of fish), La Rose, Le Panier - basket these are adorable names of districts in Marseille which as a attributes artist culled into photography. Moreover we can see a movie inspired by one  photograph taken in 1956 on the terrace Cite radieuse le Corbusier and also two new photographic - film projects Achille and Paris and From Phocéen  circus and Amélie cheerleader from Vitrolles. Exhibition isn't so big but I have to admit that I have watch it with pleasure. Portrets of Marseillais with the fish or apple despite the idea is dead easy but make some "local album" illustrating the variety and climat which is nice to see.
Free entrence, everyday 9.30 - 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 - 6 p.m.
